Steve Westfall

Chief Executive Officer, Tuthill Corporation

Steve joined Tuthill in 2013 as President of Tuthill’s Springfield, Missouri location, followed by serving as President of Tuthill Fort Wayne, Indiana from 2018 through 2019. In 2020, Steve became the Chief Executive Officer of Tuthill Corporation.

During his tenure at Tuthill, Steve has steered the businesses to greater top-line and earnings growth than in any other period of the company’s history. Steve is a leader who has a strong strategic vision, and enables the organization to thrive through Tuthill’s Conscious Culture, while ensuring long-term growth, diversity and shareholder value.

Prior to Tuthill, Steve’s 35-year career yielded success as the CEO of Eagle-Picher Technologies, LLC, a manufacturer of aerospace, defense and medical products, where he spent almost 20 years. He also served as CEO of Detroit Tool and President of CST Industries, along with serving on several board seats.

Steve holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree from Pittsburg State University. Steve enjoys being outdoors, time with his family, and an occasional round of golf.

Anthony Belmonte

Anthony Belmonte joined Tuthill in 2005 as the corporate controller to lead the global accounting function at Tuthill. He was able to quickly implement improvements and strengthened controls over Tuthill’s accounting processes in over 40 companies located in 13 countries. As CFO, he has driven improvement in Tuthill’s financial performance through his leadership and execution of numerous strategic decisions. He has a strong background in lean manufacturing and enjoys mentoring employees on their lean journey.

Anthony’s career covers over 35 years of manufacturing experience in the industrial product, chemical, furniture and capital equipment industries. Additionally, he has been involved in multiple transactions as both the buyer and seller. He received his Bachelor of Accounting from Northern Illinois University and his MBA and a certificate in computer programming and design from DePaul University.

Anthony was involved in the start-up of Marist High School’s Entrepreneur IDEA class and has been teaching at the school for the past 11 years. He also founded and runs Chicagoland Sunday Baseball which has provided baseball and part-time travel opportunities for more than 100,000+ boys and girls over the past 23 years. In addition, Anthony enjoys exploring and going on adventures around the world with his wife and family.

Lee Ray

VP Human Resources, Health & Safety

Vice President – HR/EHS, EaglePicher Technologies

Lee Ray began his career at Tuthill in 2006 as the HR leader for the Fort Wayne, Indiana facility. In 2018, Lee transitioned to the role of Vice President of Human Resources for Tuthill Corporation. He was instrumental in launching a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to begin modernizing processes, revitalizing health and safety programs, and facilitating employee development programs via Tuthill University. Lee’s want to understand all aspects of the business drives him to create HR strategies and processes to support this business wholistically.

Lee has over 25 years of responsible and progressive experience in human resource management as well as operations management. His professional experiences include senior level management, health and safety, training and employee development, benefits management, and employee labor relations within manufacturing environments.

Lee graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in management.

In his free time, Lee enjoys spending time with family and friends and chasing a golf ball around the course.

Dan Amend

Dan Amend joined Tuthill in 2000 to lead the software applications area, with a focus on SAP implementation that covered 35 locations in 10 countries. In 2010, he assumed responsibility for all of Information Technology. He has transformed the systems and infrastructure environments with a cloud-first mentality, enabling agile and scalable solutions. In 2018, he initiated Tuthill’s cybersecurity program.

Dan’s career covers over 35 years of experience in information technology supporting manufacturing and retail, ranging from retail store systems to consumer-packaged goods manufacturing to industrial manufacturing. His focus has always been on creating a technology environment that enables the business strategy, with an appreciation of when to leverage technology to drive growth and when to focus on process before technology. Dan graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He earned an MBA in Management of Information Systems from the St. Xavier University.

Dan is an avid Chicago sports fan. He enjoys golfing and travelling with his family.

Andy Tuthill

Andy Tuthill began his career within Tuthill Corporation at the Fort Wayne, Indiana facility holding the roles of Line of Product Leader and Product Manager. He transitioned to Tuthill’s Springfield, Missouri site in 2015 as Director of Manufacturing and was promoted to VP Operations in 2016. Andy was the driver of Tuthill Business Systems tools and with the team in Springfield achieved record productivity, on-time delivery, and inventory turns.

In January 2018, Andy was named President, Tuthill Springfield leading with a commitment to continuous improvement, long-term and short-term investment in manufacturing, and dedication to the well-being and development of employees. In April 2020, Andy became President of Tuthill Alsip and Tuthill U.K. locations.

As the needs of Tuthill Corporation evolved, Andy moved to a newly created role in late 2021 located at the Burr Ridge office. As VP of BD & TU, Andy will focus on M&A activities and developing the curriculum and processes of Tuthill University. In 2022, Andy was appointed to the Tuthill Corporation Board of Directors.

Andy served our country for eight years as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He held various leadership roles including Combat Systems Officer during two international deployments vital to Nation Security, onboard the USS Helena. During his service he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for exceptional performance and earned a Masters-Equivalent in Nuclear Engineering from the U.S. Navy / U.S. Dept. Of Energy. Andy holds an Engineering Science degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Andy and his family moved back to the greater Chicago area in 2020 and are enjoying being back around family, friends, and Chicago sports teams. He enjoys golf, good food, being on the water, and spending time with his family.
