In Alsip, Illinois, Tuthill employees Don Weger, Greg Kalinowski and Erica Magda helped Team Rubicon to repair the interior of a home near the Tuthill Pump Group’s shop. Saturday was National Rebuilding Day, and homes across the country were being restored through Rebuild Together, an organization Team Rubicon partnered with for this annual event. The crew, along with numerous other Team Rubicon volunteers painted and installed new doors, a stove, removed old carpeting, tile and painted a retired police chief’s home.
“It was a good feeling helping someone that could no longer do the things around the house he used to do,” Weger, said.
Tuthill Fort Wayne employees Mark Stahl, Ramey Bywater and Tim Gorman participated in a Team Rubicon service project Saturday, April 29. They helped remove fire damage from a home on Jimmerson Lake near Angola, Indiana. The crew of about 10 volunteers disassembled the structure in eight hours. The home owner was very impressed and extremely thankful for the efforts of the crew and is one step closer to getting her life back on track. “Tuthill people waking the world one life at a time!” Tim Gorman said.
