This is a multi-disciplinary role involving skills in both assembly and testing. This candidate will have the willingness and take the initiative to identify problems and work out solutions. Will prepare parts for assembly such as sub-assembly, end plates, housings, etc. Set up lathe to polish drive shafts and rotors as required. Will assemble a variety of sizes and models in accordance with the standards and requirements. A mechanical aptitude is required to work in various disciplines as needed….machining, test, etc. The individual in this role must have the ability to test and verify conformance of all blowers and vacuums per defined test procedures as required.
Responsible for utilization of research and development theories and principles to engineer, design, produce and test new products and enhancements to existing products. Work closely with manufacturing and business development to oversee and coordinate all day-to-day actions from design to commercialization of product in alignment with Policy Deployment. Provide technical expertise to designers, manufacturing engineers, and purchasing. Ensure organizational effectiveness by way of continuous improvements utilizing Tuthill Business Systems (lean) tools and the 14 processes with the spirit of Conscious Company. Identify creative solutions to support “manufacturing the way it ought to be.”
Responsible for providing conscious and accountable leadership to the general accounting, credit & collections and payroll team ensuring organizational effectiveness by way of continuous improvements and instilling discipline in the rigorous use of Conscious Company and TBS tools and processes.
Strong aptitude and prior experience or education in an industrial manufacturing setting up and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines and various manual machines to perform such functions as turning, cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, and boring of metallic workpieces using standard work instructions.
Responsible for consciously, and rigorously, using the TBS manufacturing tools to ensure the processes produce a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Pursue, with discipline, continuous improvements in all aspects of the manufacturing processes. Actively participate in the development and execution of TTS’s annual Policy Deployment.
Responsible to provide conscious, accountable leadership to a high-functioning team of Manufacture’s Representatives (when applicable) ensuring organizational effectiveness by way of continuous improvements and instilling discipline in the rigorous use of the COMPASS and Tuthill Business Systems (lean) tools and processes. Actively participates in the development and execution of the Sales Policy Deployment in the context of our COMPASS.
