Coupleurs Gromelle™ and Hansen™ quick couplings are used to transfer most fluids. Available in a broad range of materials, they are in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23 EC. Some examples include heat transfer, drum fill, blending additives, sampling, chemical waste transfer and rail car bulk handling operations.  Tuthill Coupling Group provides standard and specially engineered solutions. Tuthill Pumps are widely used in various chemical processing applications. Tuthill Pumps are known to be built tough for the challenges of chemical process applications, and Tuthill does extensive customizing of pumps to meet specific challenges such as sealing and handling abrasive fluids.

Tuthill GlobalGear® internal gear pumps are used for in a wide variety of chemical applications including polymers, paints, coatings, inks, resins, adhesives, glues, soaps, detergents, oils, fats, and greases. The robust design of GlobalGear® supports the use of mechanical seals on viscous liquids, and Tuffseall™ engineered cartridge lip seals installed on GlobalGear® pumps have been a problem solver for sealing viscous liquids.

Tuthill magnetically coupled M Series pumps are used in polyurethane foam applications for isocyanate and polyol. Other M series applications are sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, styrene, polystyrene, rubber cements, nitrocellulose, cresylic acid, sodium aluminate, concentrated sulfuric acid, and thermal oils.

For lower flow rates, Tuthill's miniature magnetic coupling pumps are used in the chemical industry for additive applications including neutralizing chemicals, flocculants, and fire retardants. The size of the miniature magnetic coupling pumps also makes them an ideal selection for low flow pilot plant pump applications.

Tuthill HD pumps are used for challenging pumping applications such as synthetic fibers and films, concentrated acids, filled plastic molding compounds and other difficult to handle liquids such as pastes and gels.
