Founded in 1950, Cablecraft® originally supplied the local Seattle-Tacoma market with a product line consisting of metal fabricated wire and strand products. Over the years, the company has evolved into a modern, aggressive manufacturer and marketer of sophisticated control cables and complete cable assemblies. The foundation of the business is built soundly on this methodology: Listen carefully to customer needs, develop the technology and know-how to make products that are demonstrably better and competitively priced, then furnish the best customer service in the industry.
Cablecraft® became a division of Tuthill Corporation in 1986 and today Tuthill Controls manufactures Cablecraft® products to meet almost any remote control requirement, including transmission shifting, hydraulic and mechanical valve actuation and throttle control of all types of machinery and vehicles. The majority of Tuthill Controls original equipment sales of Cablecraft® cable are factory direct, while a comprehensive network of licensed assembly/distribution facilities quickly service smaller OEMs, dealers and aftermarket customers.
