The Tuthill Latin American Region or TLA was formally established in 1992 to serve the company's business development interests in this dynamic and strategic region.
Presently TLA manages all Tuthill Corporation Lines of Business supporting channels and customers though a dedicated and professional sales & marketing team comprised of application engineers and marketing managers.
For many decades prior to 1992, the Tuthill Corporation had been exporting products, services and technology to its customers in Latin America directly and through its Valued Added Resellers or channels of distribution. With the advent of globalization, the company opened its first TLA office in Boca Raton, Florida and Monterrey, Mexico in 1993. Soon after, sales offices were established in Mexico City, Bogota, Colombia, and Sao, Paulo Brazil. The business grew rapidly as did the needs and expectation of Tuthill's valued minded customers.
In 1999 the Boca Raton office was moved to Coral Gables in order to be closer to the Miami International Airport, Freight Forwarders and subsidiary offices of TLA customers based in the United States.
Today TLA is a multi-million dollar region that services Latin America with seven offices (Miami, Monterrey, Mexico City, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Santiago), two bonded warehouses and a state of the art SAP customer service platform. The company is able to provide its Latin American customer's technical assistance, project and product application engineering, sales and marking support and channel development.
